Yankee pitcher crashes plane into NYC building

    Cory Lidle was the pilot of the plane that crashed in Manhatten today. He was traded to the Yanks as part of the Abreu trade earlier this year.

    I can think of a number of tasteless quips I could make right now, but I think I'll let them slide for awhile.

    I wonder why he was flying so low and close to the buildings.

    This situation seems very strange, as well as sad...
