That this Gator team would lose three in a row.

Congratulations to the Mississippi State Bulldogs.

The SEC East is really up for grabs. A four loss Georgia team could pull it out.

    wow.

Bill I'm surprised with the talent load on the gators squad that they lost this game at home. But they are very young and too many key position changes from last season to not expect a different team. The coach and players will adjust and get better as the season goes on but I'm not sure the gator fans will. They are as fanatic as it gets...

If it makes you feel better the canes have not won a big game in ten years and I'm not sure if they are going to anytime soon. Duke gave us all we could handle today...

Georgia would have to have SouCar lose two more SEC games while the Dawgs win every one they have left.

The real shock to Gator fans RC is our OL. Supposedly a strength but they can't keep the other team off our QB.

Maybe as big a surprise is our DL not being able to stop the run.

We have to win two of S. Carolina, Georgia and Vandy to not have a losing record in the SEC. Count Vandy as a likely and we have to win at least one of the other two.

Also amazing is that if we win out in the SEC we would go to the SEC Championship game with 3 loses.

Also count the SEC West as much better than the SEC East this year.

Most suprising to me is the lack of offense from the Gators, this has to be the worst offense Urban has ever coached (as a HC).

I am at a loss with the Gators as well. I've lost way too many points on them in the contest.

How much will you Gators pay me to bet on the other guys for a while?

I was sure that the Gators would be 5-1 at this point in the season, I was also sure that the Irish would be at worst 5-2 and that Texas would be undefeated and be in the top 5. What do I know!

That system was built on the shoulders of Tim Tebow. It's a house without a foundation now.

Meyer has had to replace way too many assistants for his offense to stay consistent.

Dan Mullen was his right hand man for many seasons and he lost others as well on offense in addition to Charlie Strong......who took OL coach Steve Hevesy with him to Louisville.

Throw in Tebow graduating and the newness on offense must seem overwhelming this season.

I don't think Addazio is back next season either as OC.

Also, since UF has lost the last two games by three points the continued missed FGs by our punter has been a huge factor in those two games.

This offense isn't good enough to overcome the inability to make crucial FGs in SEC games.

The injuries that have occurred such as the one to the kicker, Demps and the OL coupled with the suspension of Rainey have all added up to this offensive meltdown.

The topic post in this link sums up the Gator's plight quite well:
