UGA offensive line is terrible and the Florida defense is good. Looks like Florida and Tennessee in the SEC East.

Kentucky is in 2nd place in the SEC East.... someone told me that today. Please tell me that isn't true.

Corey, yes, UK is in second in the SECE. If they win out (UGA, Tenn) and UF loses two of their last three (Ark, SCAR, LSU) then they will be in first in the SECE.

Man, the SEC East is a mess. Florida has a good defense but their offense is struggling, UGA has no offense, Tennessee is decimated by injuries and Kentucky is in the hunt. I don't think Kentucky has been in the hunt since the 50's when Coach Bryant was there.

They were talking about firing Stoops after the first few weeks of the season, and somehow they are in the race for the SEC East? Is this a case of the rising (or in this case sinking) tide, or has Kentucky really turned a corner?

Kentucky is still just an okay team. The SEC East is a mess. UGA's offensive line has gone on vacation, Tennessee is decimated by injuries, Vandy is Vandy, SC is not very good, Mizzou is not very good and Florida is not much offense but a good defense. Of course the Motor City Gator has let us know that Florida has already lost to LSU so it may be Kentucky's year!

The SEC East is so Least I can't see any reason to play a CG in Atlanta vs. the Tide juggernaut....

We could always take the 2nd place team from the West :) I mean, it's the Big12 strategy. lol

If the UF offense were anywhere close to the Gator defense I would say let's give it a try vs. Bama.

But they're not and very likely won't be a whole lot different in December.

Bama by 17-21 over the next best team in the SEC West and by 24 over UF.

Now the Auburn game may be closer for the Tide..... but as Kp says...

    it's Auburn.

I'm a little bit surprised that the Gator Offense is struggling and the Gator Defense rocks. Wasn't McElwain an OCoord with Bama? Is the defense still benefiting from Muschamp and the Offense still suffering from Muschamp?
