Barry Alvarez, you're a first ballot HOF coach and I really can't put my football acumen up against yours, however... if you have not one, but two running backs averaging 7+ yards a carry, why would you have a QB with 3 interceptions? Curiously, Doubtful in Decatur XoXo
Andy Ludwig is the OC. Badger fans have been screaming about him all year and pretty certain he will not be on Cryst's staff. Wonder if the Auburn player who dissed Wisky's running game is having second thoughts.
Good thing the SEC brought in a couple of B12 teams otherwise they wouldn't have a win in this bowl season.
Terry's been sitting on that one and I don't blame him. Gotta love Wisconsin, they can run the hell out of the ball but every time they pass, it looks like someone speaking a foreign language for the first time. That was a really good game. Well done by both squads.
TOK, Wasn't Arkansas is the SWC before they moved to the SEC? Think Gamecocks were independent before they moved or were they in the ACC?
Ark was a SWC team. I'd forgotten about their win, or more correctly I've blotted out from my memory!
KP, a lot of old goats post here, including moi. We probably need a board moderator to run memory-loss screening...
Bobda, Oh believe me I understand. I'm just so tickled when I remember something that I have to post it on here immediately....before I forget what it was.
South Carolina was in the ACC but went independent a number of years ago then joined the SEC. On the other hand Georgia Tech was in the SEC, and was a power, and Bobby Dodd took them independent. Then they went to the ACC. The word is that Tech wanted back in the SEC but were blocked by Georgia. Regardless that's history.
