    Ok...so no comments so far.

Seems like the Dems are making progress and Iraq is the hot button...as it well should be.

A 45 year old woman works across from me and her 22 year old son with a newborn baby just arrived in Baghdad and she is beside herself.

A lot of voters are not getting the truthful right answers on this war so I think they are lashing out. Thank God we can vote.

The big campaign issue here was outsourcing of jobs. Mich. is 50th in the nation in job creation. We just reelected the completely ineffective governor and a Senator (Debbie Stabenow) whose sole purpose as far as I can tell, is to sit next to Hillary during the State of the Union Address so that she looks thiner. We deserve the government we get.

The politicians of our time aren't very impressive, are they? They are better than those of the Gilded Age (1870's-1890's) and those that preceded the Civil War, but that's about it. I've always loved Mr. Lincoln's way of describing this situation. In a message to Congress he said, "We of this Congress and this administration will be remembered in spite of ourselves." The dumb hacks didn't even know that they were being insulted. It went right over their heads...
