This sets up a rematch of last years game when the Pats upset the Chargers. If LT is ready to go this could be a really good game.
They just out toughed them. Saw Indy recievers getting smacked when the ball got close to them. It really hurt them to not have a guy like Marvin Harrison and to also have a rookie at left tackle. Unfortuneately for the Chargers they are now too beat up to put up a decent game next week.
Oh well... Congrats JIF. Easy slide into another WS ring for the Pats now. I didn't get to see the game... Neither NFL nor NCAA is not a big thing in Singapore... go figure. My breakfast awaits and then on to teach 20 Asian students of which maybe 2 speak perfect English... maybe 5 more know how to curse in broken English... maybe 8 more will be able to stay awake even though they understand not a single word... and maybe 2 of the remaining 5 have enough control over their sleep to not snore. :? :? :?
I used to tell my students that if they sleep just don't snore or bump your head loudly on the table as your fall asleep!
I'm a fan of Indianapolis and a Peyton Manning fan...yet I couldn't help but root for the Chargers after the way that Indy played out their last regular season game...giving it to the Titans (thus eliminating my Browns). I fully realize that the Browns did it to themselves by losing to the Bengals in the second to the last game... And I understand Indy resting their starters and getting healthy...that's the way it goes and I expected it. But at the end of the game they didn't call time out to force the Titans to kick a field goal...and let the Titans take three knees and run the clock out...they just conceded it...at least give your second string a chance to win the game...give the game some legitimacy...screw 'em.
