the eff does that guy know about earning a damned thing, let alone post-season football?

He's only the 3rd best black football coach in the history of Stanford and he only gets that place because they haven't hired 4.

    You better be trolling me....

it's like they are saying 'how will we keep the college football world from being pissed about having an SEC commissioner sitting over the new selection committee???

It's like they tried the Condi Rice rumor first, but everyone likes her or at least accepts her intellectual capacity to perform the job. It took a bright son of a bitch to come up with Willingham as a distraction..

I'm looking at YOU Pat Haden.

Well apparently not everybody in Alabama likes Condi. Pat Dye was distressed
I think of all those years we had the national championship decided by WRITERS in the AP Poll. I'm guessing that the majority of them didn'd play with their hand in the dirt.
I believe that Condi's father was a football coach and she was into the game from the time she was little. (She was an only child)
In closing let me say the Matt Millen at one time had his "hand in the dirt" and that buffoon didn't know squat about football.

I think the complete Pat Dye quote is "To win at football, you have to play football with one hand in the dirt and a dirty hand in their pocket."

The next thing that shady motherf*(ker spits about honest winning football will be the first. He ran as dirty of a program as have ever existed in the history of college football and then he did it again. People at Auburn still tell horrendous stories about wide open cheating, not just boosters glad handing cash but coaches on campus during the day. They didn't even hide it on a daily basis. If that school had any dignity at all, they'd burn that POS in effigy. Instead, they burn a candle and name buildings for him.

Pat Dye represents all that is wrong with Southern football. I'm surprised they didn't put him on this committee, except that they all know he'd sell the rights to sit in his seat to a rotation of the highest corporate bidders.

    Maybe it's just me..
