I hate bye weeks, but Ohio State and Notre Dame fall into that category this week. True it may be a plus for those who have injuries or a positive to prepare for a a difficult opponent on the schedule. I will miss not watching my Buckeyes this Saturday! I am anxious to see how the defense responds to Gunner Kiel and his strong arm. This game could go either way by big numbers. The Bearcats do not look very strong defensively?
The weekend games get more interesting. Starting Thurs with Auburn leaving the Plains and SEC country to travel to Manhattan Ks for KState. KState is always well coached and solid. Should be a very good game and a good test for unbeaten Auburn with a road game outside SEC country. Then Sat we have a bunch of potentially very good games. Fla vs Alabama MD vs Syracuse B10 vs ACC Iowa vs Pitt B10 vs ACC Rutgers vs Navy B10 vs Indep Virginia vs BYU UVA got an unexpected win last weekend BYU looks good Utah vs Mich Pac12 vs B10 Indiana vs Missouri B10 vs SEC Clemson vs FSU OU vs WVA a surprise winner over Maryland who was undefeated. Orgeon traveling to Wazzu...who might have gotten untracked last weekend. Then there is the big game of the Week Miami flying all the way to Lincoln to take on the unbeaten Cornhuskers. Mark that one down for your game of the week!! I think Miami is better than McNeese! Got to go with my boy Ralph's Hurricanes in this one.
I am just going to put the numbers in a hat and do a wild draw. Probably will do better than try and analyze each game. Nice article in NYT today re Hackenberg and Penn State.
I'm just doing the math in my head and wondering what AJ would do if I showed up at his doorstep. lol
Do this Math..... Section 8, Row 21, seats 7 and 8.....in between the 25 and 30 yard line....NU side.... Here's a shot from row 33.... Next to the band and the student section....
ruh ro...B1G brotherhood digging deep...don't make me get out Bobblehead Bo who is still decorated in Neb Red!
OK so I go to ebay to see if my Bobblehead Bo is worth anything...dang if there aren't a bunch of them for sale, the funny thing is that the ones in the original packaging are selling for less than the ones out of the box. With that in mind I'm thinking the one I have which has been repainted several times and has a piece missing...thankyou Gonzo...must be worth a ton of money!!
I think that most of us long time football watching fans instinctively know where the first down line is when a play starts. The first down line is most helpful when there is a spot penalty durning a series or the spot is very close to the first down mark. That happens maybe 5 or 6 times a game. Sometimes in games they have a line representing the kickers range which is interesting near the end of the game if a drive is important.
