Of course now it's really all about 7 teams:

Alabama, Oregon, FSU, and Miss State have their fates in their own hands. TCU, Ohio State and Baylor all have to hope somebody above them stumbles.

    W.Carolina at Alabama...as Brian Kelly would say,it's a bye week! :)

Colorado at Oregon...Pac12 matchup. But Colorado is terrible.

Boston College at FSU...the Eagles do have a good running game. But it would be a shocker if FSU loses.

Vanderbilt at Miss State ...a SEC matchup but Vandy is terrible

    TCU is off this week.

IU at Ohio State ...B1G matchup...IU is terrible, have not won a Big 10 game this year. Their coach is supposedly on the chopping block.

Oklahoma State at Baylor .... B12 matchup. Cowboys are not a good team this year and are a shell of the team that gave FSU a game in the first game of the year. Baylor at home should win easily.

    Other Skybox games.

Louisville at Notre Dame. Irish defense is decimated and will be hard pressed to stop Louisville. I almost can't watch this game.

Minnesota at Nebraska ...Bo Pellini really needs to win this game.

Northwestern at Purdue ....both teams could use a win, Northwestern coming off the upset of ND are probably feeling pretty good. Purdue is on the other hand on a 4 game skid.

Wazzu at ASU...I don't know does ASU still have a shot at the Pac12 South? Wazzu surely needs a win but isn't their QB done for the season?

Arizona at Utah ...I guess this game is more about positioning for a better bowl and of course a win to help make good seasons better.

Maryland at Michigan...win here and Mich is bowl eligible. Maryland does have 3 Big10 wins so it's not a given that Mich will win.

Missouri at Tenn....Tigers are fighting for the SEC East, nobody thought they could go into College Station and beat A&M but they did...nobody thinks they can go into Knoxville and beat the resurgent Vols. We'll see.

USC at UCLA...if nothing else, bragging rights, recruiting, etc are on the line here.

    E. Kentucky at Fla...a true meaningless game. Gators should win, they are already bowl eligible but their coach has resigned so I'm sure who is going to coach them next year is on their minds much more than the bowl game.

    Other games of note.

KState at W.Va. Should be a good game, again mostly about finishing the season strong and getting to a better bowl.

Ole Miss at Ark. Hogs got their first SEC win under Bielema, it is an important game for both schools. Ole Miss season has gone south and they need a win leading into the Egg Bowl and Ark needs a win to give them confidence that they have turned the corner.

    Terry,

I must be leading a sheltered life, as I have never heard of Dr. Saturday.

Googled the site and see it is a Yahoo affiliation.

It is difficult to keep up on the Internet!

Save your points here Skyboxers. Two of Tennessee's best defensive players have been accused of rape and sexual assault. They both will not be playing in this game whether guilty or innocent.

Obviously the Tallahassee PD has no jurisdiction in Knoxville, or you'd be OK.

Those two Vol players hate Georgia so much they will do anything....no wait.... that's a bit much....

Mo. has a better shot now with those guys out.

Must be disheartening to a Dawg fan to see Tenn not at full strength.

KState wins last night in Morgantown...which is a good thing for the B12. It was a pretty good game you could see it was way less than a sellout with large patches of empty seats in the upper stands. So I'm guessing the loss didn't result in massive couch burning by WVa Fans. :)

Why is KState win good for the B12...well Baylor plays them on "Championship" Weekend when the Conf champ games will be played. And while that game will not be a B12N vs B12S Champ game in essence it will be the B12 Championship game and should Baylor win KState will be higher ranked than the lower ranked teams in the ACC, Pac12, and Big 10 Championship games...only UGa will have a higher ranking..if they win out and if they win the SEC East. So bottom line Baylor will have a high ranking opponent and an elite win should they beat KState in Waco that weekend. Possibly vaulting them over some teams into that 4th spot. It's their best shot. TCU which currently sits at #5 will face lowly Iowa State Dec 6th and a win there won't give them much to impress the committee. Plus maybe their loss to Baylor finally factors.

I see that UNC beat Duke last night and that was important for 2 reasons...1) it made UNC bowl eligible and 2) it locked up the ACC Coastal Div for Ga. Tech.

It's hard not to think any game that isn't important to who the final 4 are isn't important, but there really are a lot of big games this weekend.

Looking forward to the Indiana game tomorrow. Weather not great but will be much warmer than in Minneapolis last Saturday. Temperatures will be in the upper 30s with snow showers at kickoff time. (Noon)

We should not have much trouble although Indiana has give us a scare several times in recent years. The Hoosiers will score against our less than desirable rushing defense.

Bookmakers say we say we will win by 30 points. I seriously doubt we will cover the spread.

Don, I respectfully disagree that OSU will not cover the spread. IU is not a good team. I'm not a betting man, but if I was, I'd be tempted to take OSU and give the 30 points. We'll see.

I hear you Sid. I am looking forward to watching Coleman, who is having a great season! I did not realize he was the second-ranking running back (B1G TEN) behind Gordon of Wisconsin.

Kent State at Buffalo canceled rather than moved. I'm sure if either team had anything on the line with the game they would have tried to play it, but neither will be in a bowl and so it just won't get played.

For programs like Kent State and Buffalo, there probably is an expense factor involved that makes a rescheduling not worth the cost. Just guessing.

Somewhat off topic but I think Scott will enjoy this video. WTF are the admission standards at Texas Tech?

Admission Standards at Texas Tech are not esp high, you need to be a HS graduate and have a passing SAT.

The Jaywalk All-Stars want royalties!! :)

That's a lot of faith. I imagine while the loss to Ohio State is expected and accepted, that last game vs Purdue will be pretty damn important to both fan bases.

Believe it or not, IU is making progress. When their QB went down, there was no one behind him, and that's been the difference in at least a couple of games. They had excellent QB depth las year, with 3 guys each capable of starting, but two of them transferred. Their top QB recruit for 2015 flipped to Penn State to fill the void left after Wimbush flipped to ND.
