    He joins Don Newcombe as the only players to win those two awards plus Rookie of the Year. The article below provides some interesting baseball history. By the way, Jacoby Ellsbury was 2nd and Jose Bautista was 3rd.

    Don Newcombe...man I haven't thought about him in a long time..he was one of the Dodger hero's of my youth..the list was long for that Dodger team...so many great players that were worthy of being hero's.
