News I imagine a lot of us can't do without! :)

    USFL Returning In 2010?

Actually having some football to watch this time of year might not be so bad.

I used to go to see the league champion Mich. Panthers play. The games were very entertaining. Of course getting to see the home team win often was quite a change for this area. I couldn't get into the XFL of NFL Europe. How could you take seriously a league with Ron Powlus at QB or a league with a player with "He hate me" on the back of his uniform?

The USFL Houston Gamblers with Jim Kelly and Jack Pardee's "Run and Shoot" offense were pretty popular here in Houston.

I'm just suprised that some colleges haven't started an Arena League type of conference for the Spring.

There was a league that was supposed to get off the ground either last year or this year that fell though. They had teams and some players allotted then it didn't go and they said they would do it another year.

Who knows if either gets off the ground.

And the Arena league was canceled this year also.

Spring games are coming in April though.
