Wash. St nearly pulls off a huge upset.

I can't see them(USC) staying unbeaten. They finish off the year..playing oregon, cal, notre dame, and ucla.

USC has more problems than that. For one thing, they've run out of fullbacks. The last string guy broke his leg last week and now they're all gone...

They've also been forced to move a TE to DT and to play true frosh in the secondary...

Dwayne Jarrett missed today's game and his backup, Chris McFoy from Chino separated his shoulder today. They're using true frosh at WR now too...

I know all of this news is breaking your hearts...

Of course it is. You know me. I'm just an old softy where SoCal is concerned.

Where's that bottomless depth we are always hearing about? Heh-heh.

The Cougs gave them all that they could handle. I know SC's LBs are supposed to be outstanding but they weren't very impressive yesterady. Booty has good poise. I'd like to see how he reacts after he takes a good hit.

SC will be a different team by the time we arrive in LA. But they will also be in the middle of their toughest run of the season, having faced Oregon and CAL before us and then having to face UCLA after us.
