First of all, they seem to have taken over from Miami as the stairway to the NFL. Second, where some players decide to drop a commitment to a school because of a new defensive allignment, others go to a school where playing time may be impossible to find. I can't figure it out. If playing football is that important to a kid, how can sitting on the bench not playing at all for 4 years be attractive? Now if mom and dad get to live rent free in a nice big house....
I have no idea how they do it. Most of those guys are four and five star recruits. At Notre Dame they are already talking about which two QBs are going to leave and they are no where near as touted as any of the SC Qbs. Someday we'll find out... parties at Hef's. tickets to the Academy Awards, the Lakers etc.
