    Last Saturday... 8)
a guy parks at the Rose Bowl and
leaves 2 tickets to the Houston-UCLA game
    in his car.

He enters the stadium to watch
    Stanford beat the Bruins 35-0.

    When he comes out,
he discovers that his car has been broken into and
someone had left two more Houston-UCLA tickets
    on his front seat...

    LOL>..

Not sure how good Houston is to be frank, there star QB left the game last week with a concussion and it's a game day decision as to whether he will start or not. Texas fans of course are licking their chops at getting UCLA in Austin next week.

Pretty funny. I thought Slick Rick was going to be their savior.

Along with the USC probation of course.

    Surprise!

    UCLA 31
    Houston 13

The game was never close. It was a total slaughter and the Bruins sent all Houston QBs to the training room right down to the 4th stringer, a freshman named Broadway who actually looked pretty good. The Bruins are now licking their chops about playing Texas next. A few years ago, they beat Houston 66-10 and beat Texas 66-3 in the famous "Route 66" game. I was at the game the following year and that Bruin victory was known as the "Reroute." The locals here are looking for a repeat...

Don't know how UCLA kept the score to 31, Cougars were way out of their league with them.

As far as the Texas game, we should be able to handle the Bruin offense we have a really good defense and are well coached on that side of the ball. I'm not so sure about our offense. Wouldn't be suprised to see a very low scoring game. Texas fans of course are fired up for some pay back, doubt if anybody on the team even remembers the Route 66 game unless the coaches or some friend/relative has told them about it.

I think we should win easily if our offense is steady and we play our game on defense, by easily I don't mean 66-3...I mean by a couple of scores.

Both Case Kennum and his backup are gone for the season, that's really devestating for Kennum. He needed to play the whole season and have an excellent year to help him with his NFL draft status. I think this is it for him, no medical redshirt is likley. He may not even get drafted now, or at best in the late rounds. A great Sr year might have made him a 2nd or 3rd round choice, I don't think he was going to be a 1st rounder under any circumstances.

I feel bad for the kid, hope he rehabs well and gets his shot in the NFL.
