USC is down to only nine All-American tailbacks. Emmanuel Moody has transferred to Okie State. Pete Carroll told him that he would be the "number three" running back and Moody replied, "I don't want to be the #3 back; I want to be the only back." The current depth chart lists senior Chauncy Washington as the #1 back, with sophomore CJ Gable as #2...
This is the kid who was a Texas commit until the first couple of games of Jamal Charles freshman year where he looked so good, had a 80yd TD run against OU in the 2005 game and was instrumental in the upset of Ohio State in Columbus. He didn't want to play behind Charles, so he started talking to USC which Mack Brown doesn't allow...so he dropped the Longhorns and went where the depth chart was more favorable. That's how smart this kid is!!
of <t>Gee do his parents have to leave the nice house that the found after he became an SC back? And while we're on the subject, just how is that "investigation" of the Bush parents home going? The NCAA seems to be right on top of it don't they?</t>
There are reports Moody and former USC WRer Jamere Holland are both considering (and are being considered by) UF. Seems Holland's HS coach is now UF's Dir of Football Operations. I know Holland was recruited by UF as was Damien Williams. Williams committed to UF and Holland to USC. Just before signing day 2006, Williams changes to Arky. Now, unahappy at Arky Williams transfers to USC and Holland may end up at UF.
Moody... <t>Will not be missed there. McKnight the AA freshman from Louisiana has been impressive as well so far. Amazing.</t>
Don't be surprised if he ends up at OK St. I've heard some whispers that the big money in Stillwater is willing to do ANYTHING to win now. The tiny slap on the wrist received by OU for their transgressions is being taken as a green light for "creative" recruiting by the Cowboys...
