One of the American Idol finals? I'd have said JFK's funeral but TV events from those days if for no other reason than our population was smaller aren't likely to top any list.

I'm glad to hear that, but how do you compare his error to last night's game? I realize it's standard procedure to second-guess the loser's strategy and execution AFTER THE FACT, but where is/are the "goats" in last nights' game? I don't see it. For every so-called mistake in coaching or execution by the Pats, you can point out one by the Giants. In the end, the Giants just barely outplayed the Pats on the field and on the scoreboard. I'm not a Pats or Belichik fan, but I think it's dead wrong to scapegoat the coaches or players for the loss.

I'd start with the O line. Apparently, instead of Charlie learning something from the Pats staff, they took a page out of the Irish book and adopted the matador type of blocking. Ole! :D

We are in agreement here, Sid. I think the Giants simply outplayed the Pats where it matters most, in the trenches. Goes to show you that football on any level is heavily influenced by what you've got up front.

Aquila...a very off topic question. How are Tenn fans viewing recruiting this year, it seems like you guys aren't doing very well, which is very un-Fulmer like. He usually recruits extremely well. Do you think it's because of the staff turnover? Or do you think that UGA,Bama,UF and LSU are just too strong in recruiting the SEC territory right now and it's hurt Tenn?
