The Dodgers are open for business and looking for power on the corners: first and third. They're also shopping for a closer and at least two middle relievers to replace some of the beer-bellies who didn't work out and they will pay a ton for another starter. Players being dangled as trade-bait include high salary Juan Uribe; starting pitcher Chad Billingsley; beer-bellies Todd Coffey and Jamey Wright. First baseman James Loney could also be had for a high price.

The untouchables are: Matt Kemp; Andre Ethier; Clayton Kershaw.

The semi-untouchables...the players who the team claims will never be traded, but who could go out the door for a super-high price are:
    - kid pitcher Nathan Eovaldi
    - kid flamethrower Shawn Tolleson
    - infielder Ivan De Jesus
    - infielder Adam Kennedy
    - infielder Jerry Hairston
    - minor league prospects Mike Antonini; Josh Wall; Jerry Sands and Chris Withrow

Note- I do not see the Dodgers trading pitcher Scott Elbert. He's their only left-handed relief pitcher.

    Other teams rumors......

    Chicago Cubs:
The rumors are flying hot and heavy about a blockbuster trade in the works between the Dodgers and the Chicago Cubs. The guy the Dodgers want is pitcher Matt Garza, whom the Cubbies say is unavailable. Nobody believes the Cubs who would certainly let him go if the price was high enough...

    Boston Red Sox:
The Sox are desperate for pitching are willing to pay a high price to get it. They're also desperate to unload Kevin Youkilis and Carl Crawford...
