    This is a neat story...only minor problem is that I am told that the umpire was incorrect in his ruling; in actuality according to NCAA Women's Softball rules a pinch runner could have been inserted to finish running the bases for her. Anyway a nice story nonetheless;

    In a time where soccer players regularly flop to draw penalties, where pro athletes put all sorts of performance enhancing crap into their bodies and teams run up the score to make some sort of pitiful statement of their talent, it's nice to see that sportsmanship still exists. Sometimes it's still not whether or not you win or lose the game, but how you played.
