Don't know exactly why but I have never seen Million Dollar Baby..... and it won Best Picture.

So that has to be a must see on my list of not seens.

But I have seen about 80% of the ones listed on the 100 movie list if not more.

I'm surprised Sid didn't list Knute Rockne All-American. I still get misty when the Gipper dies and fired up when Knute gives his famous half time speech.

LOL! It's clearly one of the great musicals of all time. If Lola wants it to be one of the best sports movies, then it is so.

Well, in honor of Harold Ramis, I gotta ask...

Does anybody besides me like "Stealing Home"? It didn't even make the top 100. I never see it on a list of best baseball movies.

    I loved that movie.

I don't think I've ever seen Stealing Home, but from reading the synopsis it doesn't seem like baseball was the central theme maybe that is why it's not considered a Sports Movie.

I liked Summer Catch with Jessica Biel and Freddie Prinze Jr. But baseball was sort of the sub plot to the whole Rich Girl/Poor Boy story.

Yeah, I suppose that's true. Wasn't a whole lot of baseball in it.
