    Some thoughts:

    If Cal beats Tenn by more than a couple of points the natives in K-ville will really be restless and it will build to a crescendo if UF also wins as predicted.

    Florida State is getting way more preseason respect than I would give them. Where did they find an offensive line and coordinator?

    OSU-Texas, ND-USC and OSU-Mich are up where they should be on the list. Great...very important games.

    With all due respect to our Marine Husker fan, I can see no reason why Neb/USC is in the top 10 and Mich/ND is not, they should be flip flopped.

    I do agree with the selection of Texas/Ohio State as the #1 game.

    California suffered a HUGE loss yesterday, when cornerback Tim Mixon went down with a knee injury and will be lost for the season. He was also their punt returner...

    This leaves the Golden Bears with only one returning starter among the Dbacks. He's an All-American, but now he'll be the only returner...
