Former ND QB Tom Clements has been named the new QB coach for the Packers. Hopefully this will work out better for him than his time as offensive coordinator for the Bills.

The question is what QB's is he going to have to coach?

He's certainly had an up and down career. He was a good QB coach at the Steelers I think, then moved to Buffalo and things didn't work out all that well. I think he was a QB coach for the Saints as well wasn't he?

Interesting, last year he was being interviewed for the HC job at Notre Dame, and lost out to Charlie (whew!). This year he's with the Pack as a QB coach not a OCoord.

BTW: It would sure be interesting to see if Mike Martz takes the Lions job. He sure would have some underperforming talent to work with in Joey Harrington, Kevin Jones, the Williams boys and Charles Rogers. Lot of talent that isn't pulling it's weight.
