Could be Huskerman. Have you taken advantage of the GatorCountry offer yet? That free DVD of the Championship game is something you probably need!  8)
With TT and the defense returning...not to mention Moody, Demps, Rainey and Hernandez.....yeah....ya think?
Of course it's rare to run the table as the pre-season #1. Where do you think the Gators will stumble?
TB <r>Oh how wonderful! The gators will need him to beat the likes of Charleston Southern,, Troy etc.... <E></E></r>
I think that our backup and future QB, John Brantley will get a lot of playing time against Charleston Southern. That can't be a bad thing.
Re: Tebow return <t>Re: Tebow return<br/> <br/> Nobody thinks it might have something to do with the 0-16 Lions?</t>
From CFN: "Tebow is returning for his senior season at Florida. What does this mean to the college football world and for the history of the sport? Florida will be the preseason No. 1 team, and, writes Pete Fiutak, the spotlight will be on a player and a team like never before." http://cfn.scout.com/2/829249.html
How soon we forget the 2005 USC team that returned the reigning Heisman Trophy winner and Reggie Bush who would win the Heisman Trophy that year and who many thought were maybe the best college football team in 25 years, who were undefeated and BCS Champions in 2004 and would enter the 2005 BCS game undefeated before Texas stopped them.
As much as I like Tebow in the college game, I don't think he is a sure thing for the pros. I doubt if the Lions would spend the #1 pick on him.
Tebow and rest of his class have a chance to do the unthinkable....collect three national championship rings before they graduate. Tebow himself has a chance to win two Heismans in addition to the title game MVP award, the Maxwell and some other hardware already won.
Who knew you couldn't spell hyperbole without UF. I agree with you Terry that it appears they have forgotten the VERY recent past when writing stuff like this. Does anyone ever notice that with the Gators it is 'the greatest ever'...'unthinkable'''..'unprecidented'.... 'never before seen greatness'... It's bullsh*t. First of all, as Terry pointed out, the return of Matt Leinert and Reggie Bush at USC was sickening that it should have been covered by Teen Beat. Second, USC PLAYED for 3 titles in a row....Winning 2 and losing 1 in what was possibly the real 'game of the century.' Nebraska DID win 3 titles in 4 years (which is what the Gators would be trying to do) in 94, 95 and 97... Notre Dame once had a class that never lost a football game. They won 3 titles in 4 years. Two straight and then the 3rd year they were unbeaten but the title went to an unbeaten Michigan.. It is an awesome stretch, and one you should be proud of.. but you're not walking on another planet.
Nebraska DID win 3 titles in 4 years (which is what the Gators would be trying to do) in 94, 95 and 97... WRONG!! Mike Ditka says it was 4 in 5. Nobody argues with Iron Mike.
