He has made it interesting though, 2 playoffs in both wins. He hasn't seemed consistent enough lately. The Tiger that strikes fear in everyone, starts to pull away on Saturday, and cements it by the 10th hole on Sunday. Els hit 2 bad shots on the playoff hole to give it to him anyway, just like the putt Olazabal blew from 3 feet last week. Not bad though, 2 for 2. Thank God he wears Red, White and Blue. But mostly Red. I love that about him. Up next, is.....I'm drawing a blank here, Accenture or Mercedes match play? Help me out Gip.
I find the fairway more than Tiger does!! It's that next shot that seperates us, for me it's a fat dribbler!! My guess is that the new wife is settled in and wants to redecorate everything in all 5 houses and then there is the new house not to mention shopping! Yup he'd better get out there and win some money! Terry
If he has more than one room in his house, he clearly needs to get his priorities in order..... [/img]
AJ I believe it's Pebble Beach. (weather permitting) Me? I'll be at LaQuinta working on my short game and tan.
THERE'S THE WIFE....AND HERE'S THE HOUSE.....HE'S GOT A PAR 3 OUT HIS BACK DOOR....BASTARD.....
BUT THE NEIGHBORS AIN'T TO FRIENDLY!! TIGER Woods is buying a four-hectare Florida waterfront estate for $54 million but is unlikely to be made welcome at the local golf club. Woods, 30 last week, is certainly the world's best golfer but it is unlikely that the ultra-exclusive Jupiter Island Golf Club will invite him to be a member. "There's a long list and membership is by invitation only," club membership secretary Debbie Squires said. . One of his new neighbours, who did not want to be named, thought the chances that Woods would be asked to join were remote. "No way. They don't want anybody famous," he said. "They are as low key and unassuming as it gets. No stars, fame, publicity or press." Woods - who has won 10 major championships and has his sights set on Jack Nicklaus's 18 majors - will be able to play on the course, but only as a guest. In the past he has practised on the idyllic course, on a barrier island bounded by the Indian River to the west, the Atlantic to the east, a wildlife refuge to the north and the Blowing Rocks Preserve to the south. The back nine wanders through a huge ornamental garden, with sweeping views of the river. Also out of Woods's reach will be the club's 14 tennis courts, gym, saltwater pool, game-fishing facilities and its guesthouses and cottages along the ocean front and river. Woods has had much better treatment at his previous home in Orlando, also in Florida. The Isleworth Country Club welcomed his membership and lengthened the course to accommodate his monster drives. But on Jupiter Island, north of Miami, he will have to be content with all the lavish non-golfing facilities his new home provides. It may lack an accessible golf club but it is still right at the heart of what Forbes magazine calls "the world's most expensive zip code". Woods's neighbours will include singer Celine Dion and fellow golfers Nick Price and Greg Norman. The property includes four houses - the main house, two houses for guests and a beach house - as well as two boat docks to accommodate his 47-metre yacht, Privacy. Woods intends to tear down the 13-year-old main house and replace it with something more suited to him and his wife, the former Elin Nordegren, whom he married last year. Woods met Ms Nordegren in 2003 when she was working as nanny for fellow pro golfer Jesper Parnevik, and his wife, Mia. The Parneviks may have had an influence on Woods purchase, as they live in Jupiter's Indian Hills. Apart from the new Florida residence, Woods also owns property in California, Wyoming and Sweden, his wife's home country. He is the world's highest-earning athlete. Last year he made $128 million in endorsements and prizemoney, earning $33 million from Nike alone.
He can play at The Medalist Golf Club, a beautiful private facility owned and designed by Greg Norman and Nick Price. It's only about five easy miles from his house.
Is it just my eyes or is there a red line on Tiger's property? Is that the hazard line? After looking at the wife, I'll bet that the neighbors will be mighty friendly.
??? <r>She was a FREAKIN' NANNY?!?!?!?!?! <br/> <br/> Jesper's wife must be a hottie to go along with that! <E>8)</E></r>
