I love it. Can't wait. I think I like it so much because you really only have 1 game to focus on and it's usually a good matchup. Although this week we have 3 games. Oregon/BSU and So.Car/NCState and Utah/UtahState.

I can't imagine what those Duck uniforms will look like contrasted against that horrible Blue carpet at Boise. :)

I know this guy will make the evening interesting!

I'm going to Austin right after work but hope to be there to at least see the 2nd half.

I love it too! It's the only game I know I'm going to see during the week since I'm always in College Station on regular Saturdays.

A buddy and I always pick a place to eat, and take in the action.
The coin toss came down Buffalo Wild Wings this week... they have TONS of big TVs, so I should get to see all the games at once!

I've only been to a BWW in Indianapolis, but I really liked the place. Good food and a good selection of beers, and as you said, plenty of TVs.

I'll be watching the Oregon game tonight on our new 46" Panasonic G15 plasma. We started looking with the idea of buying an LED backlit LCD TV like a Samsung 8000 or a Sony XBR8, but after weeks of doing research and looking at TVs, the Panasonic plasma has a superior picture and was cheaper to boot.

I'm curious to see how well Oregon does this season. Kelly's now the HC and he did great things with Masoli last season, but the OL has some new faces and the defense doesn't look to be much improved. The Ducks should easily finish in the top half of the conference, but I see Cal as being USC's main competition.

Great place to watch a ballgame.....I actually watched the most recent Ohio State -v- Texas game at a BW3 in Danville, VA! A lovely place....BW3 another great Ohio export! They just put a brand new flagship at the corner of Neil/High in the shadow of the 'Shoe on campus in Columbus. Much craziness on football Saturdays....

    BuckTerry,

As a matter of fact, the first BWW I ever went to was in Columbus.
Kes and I visited to see his Cougs play OSU.
Had a great time. Interesting scene you guys have for pregame.
Those little food "carts" everywhere are greatness!
    :D

I still don't understand what Muck Fichigan means...

Damn you, me and Bobda should'a found a BWW to park our butts in instead of the 810 where the waitress gave us the evil eye for not ordering or drinking enough! :)

I'll only get to watch part of the second half on my new 52 in Samsung LCD HD tv. I'll be at bowling for the first half. :)

We will no doubt be getting South Carolina - NC State, with Spurrier being my 2nd favorite coach right now that's good that I can see him.

When we started looking at TVs I'd already done some research and was leaning heavily toward buying a Samsung. They're very nice TVs, and with the introduction of the 8000 series the 7000 series was being deeply discounted.

I have a serious question: If a player is injured where blood is visible, doesn't that player have to come out and apply a bandage that covers the blood?

The reason I ask is with 2 or 3 minutes left in the South Carolina game tonight, it was obvious that an official was injured with blood running down his face and he stayed in putting the kids in danger of a possible biohazard.

That's a good point Tom, my understanding is that bleeding does call for a player being removed from a game, I don't know about an official, but it makes sense.

That is something that needs to be addressed with the SEC office and with officials in general.

Now for something totally different. What is the over/under in Vegas for the length of suspension for the Oregon player that decked the Boise State player. I assume that it happened after the game. I did not see it when it happened... just saw it on Sports Center this morning. That was a bonehead move! I don't care what was said by the Boise State guy, the Oregon player is/was a starter and can't let words bait him into a physical altercation.

Yeah that was a pretty lame act by the Oregon kid, it didn't look like he connected enough to hurt the BSU kid, even though the BSU kid hit the turf.

So much for the pre-game handshake promoting sportsmanship.

Oregon was supposed to be the 2nd best Pac10 team, sure didn't look like the same team that played Ok.State in the bowl.

As far as the ref in the So.Car. game I can't believe that the trainers for one of the teams didn't come out and offer to help the guy or that he didn't go to them. I didn't see how he got injured though, what happened?

    Terry,

Nothing was ever mentioned. They didn't show a reply. They didn't even acknowledge that it happened. I just happen to see it and the first thought in my mind was biohazard to the kids playing.

I don't think that every event in every day life is actionable. But that was. An official, that is there to yank a kid if he sees blood, should have yanked himself. Those were SEC refs. I don't want that irresponsible person anywhere near these kids.

I am real curious how the incident with the Oregon player throwing the punch is handled as well. Watching the clips this morning on ESPN he totally lost his cool and even tried to get at a fan who was heckling him on the way out of the stadium.

Hmmm makes me wonder what was actually said to push him totally over the edge.??

I wonder if because it happened after the game he will avoid manditory suspension. ND's Robert Hughes is suspended (by NCAA rule) for throwing a punch in the 2nd half of last years USC game.

RC, the Oregon kid had been running his mouth for some time before the game as to what Oregon was going to do to Boise State. After the game was over I don't know what the Boise State kid said, but he was trash talking back to a trash talker who lost his cool.
