    Not to mention 10 million in the next 5 years, guaranteed. Other than Sid and maybe BuckeyeT, the rest of us won't make 10 million combined in the next 10 years.

    To me that's the big draw for baseball, there are injuries for sure, but if you can make it to the bigs esp as a pitcher and stay healthy you are going to make a lot of money if you are just average. Jeff Weaver has had one 30 day strecth of success in the bigs and he got a 15M contract out of the Mariners.
