BYU vs OU in the new stadium in Dallas to kick off the year.

BYU also adds Florida State to the schedule.

Any other good barn burners coming up next year?

Good non-conf schedule for the Cougars. Although I don't really get the fascination with neutral site games. I guess it's the money, maybe that's the only way OU would agree to play them. Irish are going to play Wazzu in San Antonio next year and have several other scheduled. I think I read that the Georgia Dome is having another good Labor Day game, I forget the teams.

For me, the best part about this story is that the opportunity for BYU to play Oklahoma was created when ASSU asked if they could back out of their scheduled game with the Cougars on that date.

You'll need to scroll down the page, but the quote is fairly blunt...
It's too bad, really. I like seeing the Arizona schools playing their old WAC foes. Additionally, ASSU is giving up substantial gate revenue by replacing BYU with Louisiana-Monroe. The Cougars travel well.

But on the bright side, Dennis Erickson and ASSU are dodging the team Arizona beat in the Las Vegas Bowl. :D

    Gip,

My dad hasn't mentioned that to me since I told him I think I might like to try that.

    KP,

Ohhh yes. that one looks fun! Thanks for the contribution.

Holy cow, some people have death wishes.

I was wondering how they would land.

A bit to much for me I think.

Notre Dame had a similar looking schedule in the early 1900s. In fact, I believe a team which we've never beaten - lost the only game we ever played against them - is Indianapolis Artillery. We can never get even because they haven't existed for about a hundred years.

Here's a 3- game series we had with Creighton. Creighton as far as I know has been a Dental school. I'm wondering if the assistants played in the game in 1905?

    Creighton (3-0)

    Date Site Result
    11/10/1906 Omaha W 17-0
    10/28/1905 Omaha W 102-0
    10/15/1904 Omaha W 39-0

BTW, What Bluejay Alumn is a MLB HOF inductee? (Too Easy)
