a healthy Notre Dame team!!! Not only would we put fannies in the seats but you wouldn't have to dip down even deeper to find teams to fill the slots!

The thing is it's all about the Benjamins. The BCS has this rule about a max of 2 conference teams being granted BCS slots. Seems fair I guess, except that it's more about money than fairness, none of those BCS commissioners want one conference to get 3 fat checks and their conf only 1 fat check.

So we have a situation where we will dip down ladder further to jump teams up to the BCS so the money is split evenly.

    The BCS

    <r>is such a bullsh*t cash grab.<br/>

who is to say that CUSA, the MAC, Mt West or MAC couldn't have two BCS worthy teams in a given year?<br/>

Its all about the $$.. <br/>

Its for that reason, that the 'ND didn't deserve to be in the BCS games' crowd can be written off as drooling idiots who truly don't understand the nature of the beast at play here. Have yourself a better than good year, and you go big bowlin'.... That's the system</r>
