It's always less than smart when our players step outside the law, but sometimes it truly defies logic. A senior... while not a first rounder, sure to be drafted and get a shot to make a pro team. Now... the only thing that is sure is he'll get to see the inside of a correctional facility. Dumb
I'm trying to think of the Texas 5* recruit, a DE from El Paso, who went along with a older player to help him get back his TV from some guy who the dude thought had stole it from him. Seemed like a bad idea of course and get worse then they got there an the older kid said here just hold this (gun) for me. Of course it was all caught on video and it ruined his life, he eventually committed suicide or died some how a few years later. Totally wasted a promising future. Oh yeah and the older guy had been kicked off the team by Mack for being a bad character and was hanging around when he was supposed to be disassociated from the program.
