    You mean that 51 million wasn't for getting his name on the contract? That the Red Sox will have to pay even more money now? That's ridiculous. If they can't agree on a contract does he get to keep the 51 million?

    If they cant negotiate a contract, money is returned and D-Mat remains in Japan another year.
