    What did we learn.

    1. Gators are as good as anybody in the country, very well coached team
    2. USC is still USC
    3. ND is not ND
    4. Oklahoma has found the successor the Jason White, Sam Bradford is good and he has wheels.
    5. Texas is probably going to get another one of those big ass whuppings in Dallas, if they give up 30+ points to UCF they will give up more to OU.
    6. Stephen McGee actually can throw the ball downfield.
    7. Nick Saban apparently is worth 5M
    8. Buffalo offense is better than ND, they actually scored on Penn State.
    9. The real big game for Meechigan is the Penn State game. ND was just another 1AA warm up. BTW you know how many batteries it takes to light up a wolverine? 1 AA!!! :)

    10. Ohio State is rounding into shape, the game between Penn State and Ohio State at Happy Valley will be huge, could be for a BCS slot if they both make it there undefeated.

    11. Tiger Woods owns the PGA.

Good observations Terry and Larry. I am very happy for Kentucky.

An observation I have is the number of bigger name schools going down to smaller, lessor known programs.

Of course Appy State over Michigan

    Then we have

    S. Florida over Auburn
    Miss State over Auburn
    Utah crushes UCLA
    Florida Atlantic beats Minn.
    UCF over NC State
    UCF gives Texas a fit.

I think there were a couple of others.

And kudos to Texas for traveling to UCF to open their new on campus stadium.

    On the other hand

    <r>Louisville loses to UK<br/>
    Boise State loses to UW<br/>
    <br/>
So there has been some losses amongst the lesser known's this year as well. And hey even Duke won. <E>:)</E></r>

    Duke over Northwestern
Wisconsin barely survived against Nevada Las Vegas and The Citadel
Texas barely survived against Arkansas St. and TCU
    Air Force over TCU...

If Wisconsin or Texas played Notre Dame's schedule they'd be 0-3 too...

I watched winless Utah butcher UCLA. It was incredible. The Bruins are a an all-senior team that was talking National Title and they got hammered by a Mountain West team that was rebuilding. If any coach is in trouble it should be Karl Dorrell. He was the leader of the alumni backstabbers who campaigned for this job and now he's blowing it...

    <t>good point JOCO.<br/>

They would not have looked as awful as ND, but they'd be 0-3 with those showings.</t>
