    1. Everyone at Texas should be fired. Even Bevo.

    2. Looks like Michigan-Ohio St in the B1G. I think Nebraska and Wisconsin could make a run, but it looks like the same old same old in B1G.

    3. Alabama fans have had this day circled for a year, they are down to a 6 day wait. This state will probably shut down somewhere around Thursday..maybe early Friday. Bama fans eager for redemption. Auburn fans hoping to watch Bama lose again while they brag up whatever JUCO win they racked up this week.

    4. Is Tennessee good enough to win the East? We'll know more at this time next week.

    5. Is the ACC that good? I've, oddly, spent a lot of time thinking about that this week. Then Dabo came out **** talking making the U sign. Can you ever imagine Woody singing Hail to the Victors? Bear Bryant singing War Eagle? So the Clemson head coach is fan boying the U.. that may be the most ACC thing ever.. well that and whatever choke job is coming Clemson's way. The dumpster is safe for now, but I'm keeping the marshmallows close just in case.

    6. If by the time you're here at number 6 and the staff at Texas is still employed, the people with the ability to fire the Texas staff should be fired as well.

    7. If you missed the Oklahoma-West Virgina game, you can always catch the replay by putting two 9 year old girls who have never played video games or NCAA College Football 2014 before in front of the XBox and letting them do battle. It'll probably raise the quality of football.

    8. lololololololololololololololololUSC. err.. I mean...SAVE LANE KIFFIN!

    9. I hate this GD system. People are already talking about who and what is in a good position for a BCS run... I'm looking forward to the playoff format. I know you guys don't all agree, but then again, you know my position on the BCS so we won't re-hash all that.

    10. I see that Clowney has been asked to be put at a different position. You can say what you want about Te'o, and a lot of SEC fan boys did, but you didn't see him tapping out like that. Not even with the fake girlfriend scandal..not even with Alabama crushing him. We should be more careful who we build up, and who we tear down.

    11. We don't know anything substantive and won't for another 3 weeks, so let's just enjoy the collisions along the way.

Why do we even bother with ranking teams when they are based on the players from the season before that probably are not even there now....Make Oct. 15 the first ranking period of the season. But even though we know this is amateur sports and only about tradition the networks cannot hype up their time slots of who is playing who in the first couple weeks...

For those that may give a crap, it's my secret wish that the stupid all about the U sign would be burned into non-existence. I know its become a very noticeable marketing symbol with the university but "really" the U...Isn't every university the U at some point....    Boneheads

    Love it Corey...

    1)

    2) Mich and OSU - I have to agree for now... Haven't seen much of the others except maybe Northwestern, and I'm not ready to put them at the top.

    3) Yeah... I'll be in College Station for the clash. Wish we were getting this one a little later in the year. We're running a lot of freshmen on the D... and it's SHOWING.

    4) For Tom and Cindy I hope Tenn is getting there. Didn't get to see them, so I'll hold my opinion til later.

    5) Did someone mention the ACC? For you Corey!

    6) Sorry Terry!

    7) I laughed so hard at your analogy, I almost cried... because of the truth of it!

8 ) Tom has to be loving Kiffin's chair getting hot!

    9) Get ready... they will be doing the same crap next year... but it will be about who will get the four bids rather than two.
Nothing will change about them needing to predict...

    10) I'm still waiting for Clowney to serve his half game suspension for having hundreds of autographs for sale on ebay.

    11) Long ways to go... but let's not hurry. I hate the off season!

Well Texas fans are up in arms, at least the internet variety. They want Diaz gone now, they want Mack gone at the end of the season, they want DeLoss Dodds gone ASAP so that a new AD will be on board and do the hiring of the "new" coach.

You didn't mention Baylor, who is averaging 70pts per game. Oh sure maybe it's that they have played 2 cream puffs, but still a brand new QB and they a lighting up the board like that.

How about undefeated Ole Miss who continues to lure top flight talent to Oxford and who will be in Austin next weekend to play the Longhorns.

A post on the Texas Board.

Just speechless. A few quick notes.

    1) We were told that Jordan Hicks was the savior...the guy that made Manny's "D" go. Riiight. Somebody go apologize to Tevin Jackson. It wasn't the defender - it was the scheme. We got pantsed again and again and again, right up the gut. Linebackers running out of the play, and safeties that can't tackle.

    2) We've given up 650 yards of offense and 40 points...in three quarters...to a team that has nine completions. Really??

    3) Don't ANYONE tell me David Ash is an elite quarterback. He's not. I've never seen the like of fluttering rainbows. Can the kid not fire a strike??? Again and again, we get a step, and the receiver has to wait for the ball to come down. Then they get batted away or the receiver has to make a great play.

    4) Van Noy may be a great player, but he's simply embarrassing our linemen. It's like me trying to stay in front of Derrick Rose or something. Ole!

    5) Think how bad this would be if we'd had some turnovers.

    6) This BYU team couldn't put 20 on Virginia...and Oregon put 59 on them today.

    7) Whoever is rating running backs out of HS simply doesn't know $hit. The next time Brown or Gray break an arm tackle will be the first time. They aren't breakaway fast, can't run over people, and they don't break tackles. Too bad they can't play against our defense and pad their stats.

    8) For that matter, just stop telling me ANY of these players is elite. The time has come to stop saying a player must be good simply because they picked us.

    9) Case McCoy is STILL our backup QB? Somebody needs to be cattle-prodded.

I'm embarrassed. Go ahead, hit me with the anti-Mack rants. Fine. Jeff Connor, NOW is the time to bring out that post you made last week. Pull up my post-OU rant and post it again. Please feel free. Whatever "progress" I saw after that is gone.

I'm out for now. Life is too damn short for this. I've lived and died with this team for 32 years, and I'm tired of spending money and weekends chasing them.

I need a fu cking hobby.

All over Texas boards now. Diaz gone. Former Syracuse HC Greg Robinson will take over the defense. Shutting the door after the cows are out.

Hey KP, your guy Nick Saban is on the top of Texas fans wish list. We are the richest program in the country, Texas HS football is incredible and the state is growing like mad. If fact if rumors are true that Saban will be in Texas this weekend are true, then I rest my case. Nick Saban to Texas! :)

    :D

    1. All eyes on College Station this weekend. Can Johnny Effin Football do it again?

    2. My eyes will also be on Eugene, where the Duckies will host Tennessee and Berkeley, where Sonny Dyke's Golden Bears welcome the Buckeyes...

Both West Coast schools run no-huddle, go-for-broke, wide open offenses. Oregon is a well oiled machine that will score on anybody. Cal is still putting their full-tilt puzzle together, but so far, it looks like Dykes knows what he's doing. These games will tell us a lot about all four schools...

    3. Little Kiffin is suffering at USC. Today's LA Times confirmed what I saw on TV last night. The Trojan coach is reviled, insulted and booed everywhere. He's booed as he takes the field. He's booed for his play calling during the game; he's booed at halftime; he's booed as he comes in and out of the Coliseum tunnel; and he's booed after the game. USC has former high school All-American QBs Max Wittek, Cody Kessler and Max Browne, but he's afraid to call pass plays......despite having All-American WR Marquise Lee to throw to. Booooooooooo! All I gotta say is booooooooooo!

    I do love it so...

    :D

    Heard today on the radio...

Anyone who has ever been to a USC game knows that their band is part of the team. They purposely attempt to drown out other schools bands, playing loudly any time the visiting band begins a tune. They also play when the visiting team is on offense and when visitors attempt organized cheers. Last Saturday, the Trojan Marching Band reached a new low. They purposely drowned out their own fans whenever they chanted "Fire Kiffin! Fire Kiffin!"

    Chaos reigns in SoCal...

    :D  :D

The dumb Trog fools. Don't they know that they'll get more attention if the chant "fire Hayden?"

    Scott,

I'd formally like to thank you for warming up the dumpster. I'm guessing we may need it some time around the Clemson/Wake game or.. well hell, who knows. It's the ACC.

ACC 2 SEC 0 is right.

Cudos to Clemson and Miami but that dumpster fire is still smoldering with hot ashes until further notice.

Yes it is. The hot ashes have a distinct orange and blue hue and the odor reeks of gator meat.
