 Tonite, it all starts for the Clash of the Beautiful People vs The Ugly Bunch.......Shaq, Wade, Payton, Jay Will, Zo. Posey, Udonis.....all rested and goodlooking athletes going against the Ugliest Bunch of Professional Players ever assemled into one single team.

I mean.....just look at the Pistons.....not a single one of them wouldn't scare you out of your pants in a dark alley....man...they're so ugly that the TV folks avoid any face shots for fear of the childrend watching the game at home.

How would you like it if you step out of the TV room at home to get a drink or a snack and your child or children start crying uncontrollably when Rip Hamilton, Ben Wallace or Rasheed pop their ugly faces in a close up???......wouldn't you want to call the network anc complain?

How many posters of Rip or Rasheed or Ben would you have hung in your playroom??....are you kidding me?

They look so bad even the best custom suit-makers scramble when a Piston player calls for some new threads........not to speak of hairstylists....what can you do to a Prince, or a Ben Wallace?....how many kids in your block sport their hairdo?....or buy their shoes???

Man, its bad, real bad....I know that if I was dribbling towards the basket and I saw Rip Hamilton coming at me I would have an instant apoplexic fear seizure and collapse on the floor.....gosh, how awful!!!!

Ok, I think we are clear

The Gonz....the War is On :D

Hey, get ready and buckle up Malloy......this ain't no Cleveland you are now playing....even our Heat bench players blew your starters off the floor.

Rasheed never even got close, ditto for The Reaper Hamilton.......and Black Frankenstein Ben Wallace clunked his way thru his vile foul shots.

    Oh yeah.....LOL!!!!

Nice start for the Heat Gonzo.

I think the homeboys were a bit tired from the Cavs series perhaps.

In any event this series is going to be a battle of will and I think the Pistons will be ready to exert theirs at the end.

I fixed this for you Little G. I changed the location before I determined that you had disabled BBCode in this post. I unchecked that selection and the picture now displays.

I also checked your profile and changed it so that it does not automatically disabled BBCode in all posts. You should not have this problem again.
Back to square 1

<t>The Heat are back to square 1 again, but I definetly wouldn't call it bad to win the 1st game in the palace, The reason we lost was of are supporting cast played horrible, espeecially antione walker. If we don't get at least one or more people besides shaq or wade in double figures we will have a very tough time beating the pistons.
The Heat looked good last night but gave me a scare at the beginning of the 4th quarter when the Pistons made an 11-0 run to come within a point and had posession of the ball where a score would have put them in the lead.

But this Miami team responded with a run of their own and ended on a strong note.

The next game could be the defining game of the series. Will Miami win and keep the home court advantage or the Pistons win one in Miami to take the home court advantage back.

Stay tuned. I like the Heat and hope they win the series. But this Piston team has proved time and time again in the last three years that they cannot be counted out.

And what I find unbelievable is that there is actually a worse foul throw shooter in the league than Shaq. Ben Wallace's inablilty to hit from the foul line has hurt the Pistons badly.

Gip's very concerned. If Shaq plays like that every game it's curtains for the Stones. I havn't seen him play like that in 5 yrs. Wade doesn't bother me that much, he's streaky. His own team manages to cool him down by not getting him the ball for stretches.
Ask, Lebron, we can slowdown a superstar foward but there's not much we can do with that supertanker in the paint.

Well, Malloy has finally said something right.....Shaq is playing like a possesed demon.....not seen in years.....I guess desperation would sucumb Shaq if Detroit denied him this series.

Its like the game at the local ballpark, or at the Kiwanis or the YMCA...or it can be related to even when I play tennis......its called "I WANT IT MORE THAN YOU" and the Pistons apparently are worn down by the game vs the Cavs and seem disconnected.

Ben Wallace is "not at home" between the ears......mentally destroyed and embarrassed by his foul shooting fiascos.....Prince is the most hot-cold athlete in the team and Rasheed is somewhere between Ben's mental absence and Prince's confusions.

Hats off to Billups....if it wasnt for that guy Detroit would be scoring in the 60's for the entire game.....ditto at times for Rip Hamilton....but the game plan here is that the Heat backups are stepping up enough that Detroit cannot ignore anyone but just Shaq and Wade as Walker, Udonis, Posey, Payton and Jayson Williams are doing their thing.

My guess is that the Heat wins on Monday.....Detroit the next game...and Miami goes 4-2

Did you offer Cherries Malloy????....we'll take them
