I can’t believe what I saw and heard today. Though there were no personal conflicts, the Wisconsin student section was totally devoid of any semblance of class. I have a few examples here for your viewing pleasure:

The first flag that flew was against Tennessee. They chanted over and over: You F#(ked up, You F#(ked up…
    [IMG]

They split the section in two and chanted at each other: Left side: Eat S#!t … then the Right side: F#(k you
    [IMG]

Then at half time, we noticed something odd about the student section. They all started reading the paper:

    Why were they doing this:

The Tennessee band was on the field… that’s why!

Now for a few pictures before the game.

    Cindy with J T Mapu’s father:

…and finally, a fresh new set of recruits for SEC Refs:

    :D  :D  :D  :D  :D  :D  :D

<r>looks like you got it pretty light <E>:)</E><br/>

I think what you saw there is more the reaction to being a little sister to THE Ohio State University and Michigan for so long. They think that's how you're suppose to be. <E>;)</E></r>

Interesting day huh Tom? Seems the Badgers have some traditions that don't include being classy.

Part of it is just being young I guess.

Hey congratulations on the win, I wish we had been on the winning side of our game.

We did have some fun banter with 4 students sitting one row below us. They were looking for an argument. I started talking to them like I knew their mother and razzing them back. They turned out to be pretty good kids. Maybe Tom will post a picture of these guys. When did college age students turn into kids? Damn, just damn.

I got you Cindy, seems that them turning into kids happened somewhere along the line when I was looking the other way.

Heck I find myself calling my 40 year old children kids!

I still remember thinking 25 years old was pretty old, now 65 looks pretty young!

    Things surely do change.

I'm glad you guys had a good trip but sorry we didn't get to see you while you were in Florida this year.

Meanwhile I'm sitting here with a stiff leg sticking straight out in front of me wondering when I'm going to walk again. :(

You'll do just fine, and walking again will come. But when you're well, we need to work on a level place for the dog to do business. No more slippery slopes for you

Cindy, I think that as late as the light may have come on I understand that. The dog can walk up the slope, I need to stay on the driveway.

Glad you guys had a good experience.

    Cindy and Tom,

Nice win today. The cheeseheads can be difficult at times, especially in Madison.

I thought all those cheeseheads did for fun was cow tipping.

Hey Bill, I have a photo of your house... That stairway up to the front door looks pretty treacherous....you may need to consider an elevator!! :)

Nah Terry, that's why we go in either the back door or through the garage in the back. No more than 2 steps!

Besides I can't afford an elevator!

OK, Cindy... here are the "kids" that were one row in front of us. I had the long lens on for the second picture so I couldn't get around the railing. These "kids" were born 4 years after Cindy and I were married. Argh!!!!

OK... so I didn't shave... so shoot me! The girl in the first picture said that the guy in the third picture usually has to have two people holding him up at the end of games.

We just realized that we were caught on TV (from the neck down) yesterday. At the break between the 3rd and 4th quarters, the Wisconsin fans start jumping up and down. ESPN comes back from commercial to show the Wisconsin student section in theis jumping frenzy. You can see two white shirts sitting behind them. That's us!

LSU by a long shot. These Wisconsin guys are funny classless. LSU are destructive classless. Huge difference!

    Great job Tom

<r>"funny classless" is perhaps the best way to describe it. Its not really bad. Its more youthful lack of discretion.. Like... you know their mommas would wear their ass out if they saw it, but that, in a way is a little of what college is all about. <br/>
    <br/>
I'm glad you didn't have a run in with the bad (but small) element of Wiscy fans. I'm sure if you did though, Cindy would be having her foot removed from someone's ass right now <E>:)</E></r>
