OK guys I've started a group on Yahoo fantasy sports. The group name is Skybox. I'm just going to put the password here because it's so late. "open" It's a little different from last time. You pick 8 players altogether 4 starters and 4 on the bench. You get a starter and bench player from group A 2 of each from group B and 1 each from group C. Put your starter in the space and then move him to the lower spot and pick a bench player. Then move him down and your starter up. Hope that's clear enough.
Hey....what the hell....I thought this was a full service gas station here....where's the link? Sid, TBG, Don, GB, JGK, Cindy (Yeah that's right Tom  Anybody? Everybody? Ya in?
Just go to Yahoo fantasy sports and register your team...the first thing they ask next is if you want to join a group or start a new groupl This lasts all year...are you going to keep it going after the Open?
OK I'm in. So far just Gip, Stu and I....come on AJ!! Stu is Boondock Muskie going to join...if so give him a fake group to join!!
Phils best decision of the day, to not take a drop when his ball was sitting in the TV cables, I mean when would he have the chance to do that again!! Congrats to Gipper I think he won the contest. Irish Eyes are smiling tonight!
Premature on the congrats to Gipper....We've been Ryckmaned!! Stu wins with #1 son in 2nd place! Congrats to the Ryckmans....AGAIN.
I don't really want to do it every week, but now that we are set up we should just use it for the British Open, PGA, and the FedEx Cup playoffs maybe.
Not so fast... No trophies presented for a 5 person group. We found that out last year in the NASCAR contest.
It used to be that they had contests for each of the 4 majors. The usual format was picking a 3 man team and using their lowest score on each hole. I thought that that format was much better for the single tournament contests since you could see your score after every round. Apparently the scoring in this particular contest is based only on the final tournament results. Seems to me that those earlier contests usually had a sponsor. Maybe because of the economy they did away with them.
