    Very interesting language...
    Ohio State/Nike

FWIW Notre Dame is currently and Addidas school but will be leaving them after the 2014 season. Reportedly Under Armour is currently the leading candidate.

Coaches using their apparel contracts to as leverage to protect their job status. Makes sense given how out-of-control the schools and their priorities are these days. I can't believe/am ashamed of myself for not thinking of that myself..

If you're going to be a whore, tart it up. Don't just be the naughty Sunday school teacher with a travelling salesman for a husband.. I'm almost proud of Matta.

Seems silly...chump change compared to the total figure and salaries...$16,000 in apparel is gonna be insurance against getting fired when you have a multimillion dollar contract?

I know that's why I wondered about what the heck is going on...I wonder if he has a personal contract with Nike and he gets 16K for personal gear...don't think I could spend that much myself if I bought everything they had for golf unless it includes clubs.

BTW, Texas is a Nike School, some Longhorns are willing to put up the 16K for Rick Barnes to go away! He's sort of next up in the line of cleaning house at Texas...after that it's our baseball coach Augie Garrido.
