VIRGINIA BEACH, VA – One of the two pilots of the Navy F-18 jet that crashed into a Virginia apartment building on Friday appeared on MSNBC’sPolitics Nation with host Al Sharpton. The pilots were able to eject from the aircraft before it crashed into the apartment complex, engulfing several buildings in flames. During his interview the pilot expressed heartfelt remorse about the crash. Following is a transcript of the show.

AL SHARPTON: I appreciate you have accepted our gracious inquest in your time of great need.

    BARTHOLOMEW: I’m sorry?

AL SHARPTON: Now, I must tell my audience that you have asked me to call you Bart-a ?

    BARTHOLOMEW: Bartholomew

AL SHARPTON: Can you clarify for my audience why you’re not using your real name? Is this not America?

BARTHOLOMEW: I agreed to the interview on the condition that my identity remain anonymous.

AL SHARPTON: What does being an Adonis have to do with crashing your plane into an innocent apartment building?

    BARTHOLOMEW: Pardon?

    AL SHARPTON: Mr. Bartha?

    BARTHOLOMEW: Bartholomew

AL SHARPTON: How ’bout I just call you Bert?

    BARTHOLOMEW: Sure

AL SHARPTON: Now, Bert, I want you to be honest because you’re on live TV and I want to ask you, were you texting on your cellphone when you crashed the plane?

    BARTHOLOMEW: No, of course not.

AL SHARPTON: No defense, but when Al Sharpton investigates a story the hard questions are gonna be heard.

BARTHOLOMEW: I understand. No uh, defense taken.

How do you increase the perceived intellegence of Al Sharpton?
Put him in the same room with Jesse Jackson... or Barak Obama.

Hollywood Lib George Clooney To Host $40,000-Per-Plate Obama Fundraiser At LA Home…
    [IMG]
While Obama rails against evil rich people today keep this story in mind, Clooney plans to sell 150 tickets at $40,000 a pop to his rich buddies, which comes out to a cool $6,000,000 for The One’s reelection.

(ET Online) — ET can exclusively reveal that George Clooney is hosting a fundraiser for President Barack Obama’s re-election campaign — but there’s one thing he won’t do to help the president.

Clooney tells ET, “I’m proud to do whatever I can to support the President… as long as no one asks me to sing.”

Of course the singing reference brings to mind the president’s own, well-demonstrated singing talent that he has showed off at least twice in recent months.

Clooney will host the president and about 150 supporters at the event on May 10 at his home in Los Angeles, California. If you think it will be cheap to get a chance to hobknob with an Oscar winner and a president, though, think again — tickets will run $40,000 each, with proceeds going to the Obama Victory fund, a joint fundraising committee of Obama for America, the Democratic National Committee and several state Democratic parties.

Obama’s War On Women: Records Show White House Pays Women On Average $11,000 Less Than Men…

And yet conservatives “war on women” consists of only opposing Obama’s decision to force the Catholic church to violate its religious beliefs.

    Via WFB’s Andrew Stiles:

Female employees in the Obama White House make considerably less than their male colleagues, records show.

According to the 2011 annual report on White House staff, female employees earned a median annual salary of $60,000, which was about 18 percent less than the median salary for male employees ($71,000).

The Obama campaign on Wednesday lashed out at presumptive GOP nominee Mitt Romney for his failure to immediately endorse the Lilly Ledbetter Fair Pay Restoration Act, a controversial law enacted in 2009 that made it easier to file discrimination lawsuits.

“Paycheck discrimination hurts families who lose out on badly needed income,” he said in a July 2010 statement. “And with so many families depending on women’s wages, it hurts the American economy as a whole.”

Well Done, Barack: Oil Prices Spike After Obama Announces Crackdown On “Speculators”…
    [IMG]
    Obama reeks of sheer incompetence.

    Via Washington Examiner:

Crude oil prices have risen over a dollar today, despite President Obama’s promise to “crackdown” on Wall Street “speculators” that he believes are driving up the price of oil.

Crude oil opened at $102.66 per barrel. It cost $104.04 per barrel at 8:58 am (one minute after the White House Fact Sheet on “cracking down on manipulation in oil markets” hit my inbox). By 9:32 am, the price had risen to $104.94 per barrel. The price has been as as high as $105.07 today, according to Yahoo Finance and Reuters.

Brendan Buck, Press Secretary for Speaker John Boehner, R-Ohio, jumped on the correlation. “Price of oil tumbles on news of Obama crackdown on manipulation,” he tweeted sarcastically, adding “Actually, the reverse [of] that.”

Doctors Feeling Obama’s Crushing Health Care Policies
    [IMG]
    American Thinker

Obamacare is placing doctors squarely in the crosshairs. The Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services (CMS) has initiated a labyrinth of programs which will make government reimbursement for medical services even more of a nightmare for the targeted group.

Under a provision of the 2010 healthcare law Medicare payments will be tied to cost containment and quality of care. The Physician Value-Based Payment Modifier Program, according to experts like Donald Berwick of the Center for American Progress, reflect the “theme” of Obamacare: “value-based purchasing.”

When you hear the word ‘value’ coming out of a socialist’s mouth, watch out. It doesn’t mean quality of care; it means reduction of care and forced compliance.

The major difference between a private physician’s place in the community and a government paid physician is the first must be responsible only to himself and his patients. If he messes up or has a bad bedside manner, he’s to blame and may even lose his practice. This reflects a free market.

But in a nationalized, federal health care system where doctors work for the government, it’s the government which removes poor or unacceptable doctors. So, either the market determines your fate, or a remote bureaucracy does.

All of this is not sitting well with the medical establishment.

Doctors are being informed by Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services (CMS) they will face stiff penalties, in some case retroactive, if they do not comply with certain requirements in a timely manner.

The group is already set to take a 27% Medicare pay cut beginning next year and with the tangled web of regulations, medical professionals are reporting the programs are so confusing they don’t know what to do to earn a bonus or avoid a penalty.

Tom, I put Sharpton and Jackson pretty much together, both are race baiters. I'm not sure which is smarter.

Obama is in a different league and far more dangerous.

There is no proof that Obama is intelligent. He has never released his grades and he was a C-D student who took cocaine and marijuana in high school by his own admission...

…Obama has made a campaign stop in Afghanistan, one of the 57 states. He makes a statement tonight at Bagram Airbase, announcing that he’s fished bin Laden out of the Indian Ocean and shot him again.

Here are some other great moments of presidential accomplishment in our history:

    – Lincoln defeats Lee at Gettysburg
    – FDR storms the beaches in France
    – Nixon lands Apollo 11 on the moon

Obama Abolishes The Presidential Press Conference, Holds Only One This Year…
    [IMG]
Try and imagine the media outcry if Bush shut them out. Then again, Obama umms and awws himself to death when taken off-teleprompter so I can see why he doesn’t do them.

    Via White House Dossier:

President Obama has held just one full length, multi-topic, solo press conference in the last six months, effectively abolishing the most accessible venue for American citizens to observe the thinking and learn the views of their leader.

It’s May, and the president has stood for only a single such news conference this year, a March 6 event in the briefing room. He’s had only three since last June, counting a November press conference in Hawaii that was supposed to be devoted to the just-held Asia-Pacific Economic Cooperation summit but which veered off into other issues.

Nor does Obama generally allow questioning during brief appearances at the White House, such as when he makes statements with foreign leaders. Previous presidents, including George W. Bush, routinely took a couple of questions on the topic of the day at such gatherings.

Escape From New York? High-Taxing Empire State Loses 3.4 Million Residents in 10 Years

    Home - by Cardigan - May 29, 2012 - 09:25 America/New_York - 10 Comments

[SNIP] The problem isn’t that they’re leaving NY. The problem is a lot of these locusts try to spread their Socialist
plague to other states. They just don’t see the irony in why they left NY in the first place!

(CNSNews.com) – New York State accounted for the biggest migration exodus of any state in the nation between 2000 and 2010, with 3.4 million residents leaving over that period, according to the Tax Foundation.

Over that decade the state gained 2.1 million, so net migration amounted to 1.3 million, representing a loss of $45.6 billion in income.

Where are they escaping to? The Tax Foundation found that more than 600,000 New York residents moved to Florida over the decade – opting perhaps for the Sunshine State’s more lenient tax system – taking nearly $20 billion in adjusted growth income with them.

Over that same time period, 208,794 Pennsylvanians moved to Florida, taking $8 billion in income.
