You may, or may not, have agreed with her policy. You may, or may not, like the British. However, party rhetoric aside, you have to respect Margaret Thatcher. In a man's world on the world's biggest stage, she showed she belonged at the big kid's table, kept the UK together and maintained the United Kingdom's relevance.

In a world filled with feminist impostors, looking to make a buck and exploit the women who look to them for leadership, "Maggie" led. She didn't burn a bra, or make a spectacle, or even so much as flinch. She carried herself with far more poise and dignity than the Royal family has these past 30 years while leading the UK with that legendary British steel in her veins. The UK is lesser without her.

You have to hand it to Walt Disney: he understood his audience. Nobody at Disney Inc. wanted Annette...nobody...not even his brother Roy. They said she had no talent, couldn't sing, couldn't dance, couldn't act; only Walt believed in her.

She was the star of the Mickey Mouse Club and the reason that young boys tuned in. As a singer she had hit record after hit record. As an actress, she was, along with Frankie Avalon, the greatest teenage star of her generation. As usual, Walt was right about everything...

That article is typical of the liberal left. They are not loving, understanding or willing to accept anything but their narrow view of the world.

To that writer I say ********.

She was the longest serving Prime Minister of the 20th century (which included Winston Churchill) in Britain because she was the most effective. Her longevity speaks for itself and belies that crap that journalist today want to throw on her grave.

She had two things that the Socialists can't stand:

    1) A good relationship with the US president
    2) Like the aforementioned president, a staunch belief in the free market system.

Without her, Britain would be Greece or Portugal or Spain. I remember the lily-livered socialists that she was up against. In one memorable speech, the leader of the Labour Party said that his dream was for Great Britain to become the "Yugoslavia of Western Europe."
You don't hear the Laborites talk like that anymore. She changed them too...
