Glad to hear you've got a job AJ. Amazing job by Suppan and the Closer actually closed the game out!! Must have had something to do with the karma provided by GORT.

Hey, hey! This is great! Huskerman's new job will be only two deserts away from my job! The Mojave Desert is just north of the Sonora Desert! Hey AJ! If you want to visit, just take this road...

    Congratulations, AJ!

I sure hope you like living in the Naked Pueblo. Tucson gets a little hot in the summer, but the rest of the year it's beautiful. Plenty of golf courses for you to network, too.

They're javelinas, buddy. You'll see them in the hills and be careful of them when you're driving through the desert at night.

Apaches are further north in the White Mountains. The local Sonoran indians are the Pimans/Papagos. Papago is the name the Spanish gave them (bean eater). Their own given name is Tohono O'odham.

The picture Terry put up is from Saguaro National Park. There are two locations; his looks to be from the westside location. My dad lives out by the eastside location.

As far as breweries, check out Nimbus Brewing. I'm not up to date on the Tucson beer scene these days, but this has always been a favorite of mine when I'm in town. I'm looking forward to having a beer with you there.

    Sid,

I've got an unbelievable position at a private (Retirement Community) Golf Club. It's north of Tucson in the saddlebrooke area. I'm being brought on as the Head Pro's assistant. The offer and the benefits were almost immposible to say no to. Interesting guy the Head Pro is. His name is Jim Kirwan. He was a former Pro Hockey player in the RedWings farm system. He was also the Head Coach at Iowa State for the Hockey team from 1981-1988. He has played on the Pro circuit at the Ben Hogan tour level and also has been in several events on the senior tour. Great Ball striker. We played the Tucson National when I was out there. There is alot I have to learn about the game, and this guy proved it. He's 61 and hits the snot outa a golf ball.
