    I seem to remember that at one time after his retirement he lived in Indiana or Illinois and attended a few ND games.

    I don't think he was/is a Notre Dame fan though. He was part of the coin toss when the Louisville Cardinals made their first BCS appearance in the Orange Bowl.

    Probably a college football fan, of what team who knows.
