Just learned today that Gonzo had a scope on his knee and is now recovering. Just letting all of his well wishers from earlier know that he will return soon.

Best Wishes, Gonzo...I had that done last fall...

Trust me...us old guys don't bounce back from arthroscopy like young athletes do...

First night...Vicodin and long acting local anesthetic in the joint..."I don't need no stinking crutches!"

Second night...get up in the middle of the night...can't walk...bathroom looks nine miles away...crutches are downstairs...chit!...finally make it to the BR...not gonna make it back..."Honey, will you get up and go downstairs and get my crutches?"

    Third day...feels good again...things r ok!

Fourth day...knee is so swollen it feels like the blood can't get out of my foot...like I have a tourniquet on...must be overdoing it...prop the damn thing up..."Honey, bring me a beer."

Six months later...knee is still stiff as hell when I get up out of a chair, etc...think I'm just gonna have to get used to it. Losing weight would help but many of you know how that goes.

Try knee replacement and you could write a complete comedy adventure Stu. Now if we get JO'Co to have knee replacement, the "trip" report would be phenomenal!
