It's basically common baseball sense stuff. Inserting Manny into the lineup was the missing piece. He's a good enough hitter that opposing pitching staffs now HAVE to throw those great young hitters of the Dodgers a fastball over the plate....Manny is doing what Jeff Kent and Nomar couldn't do.
