I figured I would start a topic on this specifically for the playoffs. Alabama vs Washington and Clemson vs Ohio State. Washington's qb scares me. Hopefully the Alabama pass rush will limit his choices. I think Alabama will nullify the Washington run game. Of course, as usual turnovers can change everything. Again, hopefully our freshman qb has a good game. I take nothing for granted, Washington has a potent offense and a good defense. That is a good combination. I don't know what to think about the other game. Both Ohio State and Clemson have had up and down parts of their seasons. I don't know what the line is but this is a toss-up and I think the Clemson qb may be the difference in the absence of a lot of turnovers. Good day for football.
Kp, we are three point favorites but that really does not mean much to me. Big question seems to be if Clemson's front four on defense can control what we do. If that proves to be true, we very likely will end up on the losing end. Hope springs eternal! Our defense has been fortunate in getting some pick 6's this season. That could be the difference as well?
I look for Alabama to dominate the Huskies. USC dominated them and Alabama has a bigger, faster, more dominant defense than USC. I'm thinking something similar to the Mich State/Alabama game last year or the ND/Alabama game in 2012. I think the Clemson/Ohio State game will be close and be decided in the 4th qtr. Which ever QB has the best game will determine the winner.
I'll say it again. Jalen Hurts needs a lot of work. Our defense is looking pretty good.Browing started out great but has had trouble in the 2nd quarter.
Yeah...When when he runs over a linebacker, he needs to leave his cleat marks on the LB's chest, not the stomach.
Well I think that's the ball game. Great run by Bo. I do think Freeze is right, you have to make Hurts beat you throwing. The run game is the straw that makes the Bama offense.
Washington defense has been much better than I thought, those 10 points the offense gave up are pretty much the story.
