Oregon Ducks Style! Pretty interesting article! I don't know how fast OU got plays off in the 1st qtr of the Texas/OU game but they were so fast to the LOS after the ball was placed that several times our defense clearly was not ready at the snap. The Blur Offense
Re: The Oregon offense, I love Tressel's interview after the Rose Bowl victory over the Ducks after having largely kept the explosive Duck offense in check......it was probably the gazillionth time he'd been asked a question about the awesome Oregon offense and was likely growing weary of it and wanted folks to know that he had some kids that could play as well..... :lol: About Oregon's up-tempo offense: "We have an up-tempo defense."
Yeah having that up tempo defense is a pretty nice counter!! Also nice to have plenty of time to prep for an offense like that one.
No doubt, but unless you have both the personnel suited to fill the key roles and enough experience/skill running it to be proficient, you just can't duplicate with any degree of effectiveness......it does help to be sure to have a couple of xtra weeks -v- one for certain.
