This surprises me a little bit The ACC Champion is 1-9 in bowl games over the last 10 years. Here's the list (year shown is the regular season year): 1998 - FSU lost to Tennesee 1999 - FSU beat Virginia Tech 2000 - FSU lost to Oklahoma 2001 - Maryland lost to Florida 2002 - FSU lost to Georgia 2003 - FSU lost to Miami 2004 - Virginia Tech lost to Auburn 2005 - FSU lost to Penn State 2006 - Wake Forest lost to Louisville 2007 - Virginia Tech lost to Kansas
The ACC is the weakest conference this year of the big 6, IMO. I refer to them as Another Chump Conference. Hope there are no ACC fans on here so I won't get accused of flame throwing.
The ACC currently has supplanted the Big Least as the least exciting conference. Without Miami and FSU doing well they have no exciting teams to watch, no pizazz, no nuttin. The Big East has had big exciting games that have garnered a lot of attention with the rise of Rutgers, So.Fla, WVU, Louisville to the Nat'l Scene. When was the last time anybody cared about a ACC game??? Terry
