Of course I'm sure you guys are aware that text messaging is the hottest thing in football recruiting. It allows the coaches to sort of get around the no contact periods, as texting at the moment is sort of like sending them a letter according to the NCAA. I have a feeling that they are going to eventually regulate it, I don't think even the coaches who use it to the max really care for it all that much.

That said here are some text messages (tongue in cheek) from big time NCAA Div 1 coaches.

    Bobba Bowden
    Lloyd Carr

    OK..I'll try a few:

Mark Richt: I hear you're going 2 Florida for a visit. I 2 have been to Florida for several visits and I would say stay away from Jax as the Gators there are vicious. Have u heard of all those attacks?

    Phil Fulmer:

U can C from our record son there's room for ya here in K-ville.
It's danged hot up here 2 and gettin hotter by the minute.

    Les Myles:

Did you see all that payback we gave Katrina I mean the Hurricanes in ATL? Blew 'em away I tell ya like nuthin New Orleans ever saw..

    Larry Coker:

Son I know our assistants are new but it ain't like we're a team that got blown out in bowl game or anything like that. We're the Hurricanes doggone it and we do the blowin around here.
