ugh...this is what happens when you bring a CUSA offense to play a BCS conference team.

I think I've seen this before....Texas is playing the part of Notre Dame circa 2001 Fiesta Bowl with David Ash playing the role of Matt Lovecchio.

Oregon State went in at halftime and had mexican food no doubt. That's the only explanation for why our defense looked liked Montezuma's Revenge on the Beavers.

The OSU OL just failed to show up in the 2nd half. The 2nd half will be forever known as Manny's Rebirth as a DCoordinator.

Big 12 is now a surprising 2-0 vs the 12Pac and Texas is 5 out of 6 in the last 6 bowl games vs 12Pac teams.

Shocking that we won, but I'll take it. We have a lot of healing to do in this off season, but the win will quiet down somewhat the roar of "Retire Mack" in Austin.

    Hook'em!

I'm still in shock at Mike Riley's poor coaching performance tonight. If anyone had told me that he was going to be outcoached by Mack Brown, I would have said that it was impossible, but that's what happened.

The Beaver's best QB is Sean Mannion. He's a legit pro prospect who got in the game for one series and led his team to a TD. The rest of the game Riley went with Cody Vaz, an immobile passer at best, who's playing with an injured left knee that made him a statue back there. Ten sacks? Good grief. Nearly all of the Beavers long plays were screens and draws, because the Lhorns were bringing the house on every passing situation. Common sense says that you either put in the other QB or move the one you have in there out of the pocket. Riley didn't do either one.

I also don't understand the play calling in the 2nd half. The Beavers were running all over them, then shut down their running game in favor of the pass! Why? If I were an Oregon State fan, I would be p*ssed at this result. They gave this game away...
