After OU/Texas this is the 2nd biggest game of the Year in the B12. And it's in Lincoln. Huskers are a much improved team in Callahans 3rd year, and Texas QB Colt McCoy is a different more confident player than he was in the Ohio State game. Longhorn Defense is tough, and the Huskers are the best balanced team we will have faced since the Ohio State game. The Huskers are running the ball very well with about 3 guys. From what I've seen the Husker defense is good but not quite as good as I expected. They don't seem as dominant on the line as I thought I would see and they are very young in the secondary. I think McCoy should be able to exploit the Husker pass defense.

Should be a good game, Longhorns have never lost a game in Lincoln though and I don't think we lose this weekend.

    Happy Birthday AJ!! 8) 8)

Just got off the phone with HuskerMan. Other than knowing the final score, I didnt' really know anthing about the game. Sounds like the Huskers really played pretty damn well and we were lucky to get out of Lincoln with the W. I imagine at this point we'll be seeing them again at the B12 Championship game for all the marbles!!

    HuskerMan & Terry,

Tough loss for Nebraska and Texas should thank their lucky stars for that fumble.

Nebraska defense looked very solid. I like the sea of Red in the stands.

I continue to be impressed with Colt McCoy and his demeanor for a freshman. He is going to be a good one in the next three years.

Funny thing about Colt McCoy is that a lot of Texas fans really want to see Snead beat him out or maybe even Brantley when he gets on campus. Everybody likes Colt and he seems to be a good leader and a solid QB. They are concerned that his lack of arm strenght and footspeed is going to be a problem. Both Snead and Brantley have much stronger arms and while I neither or them is Vince Young, might be a little faster.

The other thing a lot of UT fans would like to see is the scraping of the Spread, a lot of guys feel like since McCoy isn't really a running threat that we'd be better off in a I formation and that it would help our running game a lot to have Jamall Charles back there with a fullback.
