Interesting... rumor has it Texas is close to making a deal with ESPN for their TV rights. There is a lot of smoke that if that happens... A&M and possibly OU will bolt the Texas Ten and head for the South East... :shock:
I've been reading that for awhile on the Texas boards, seems like pretty much a done deal for the Longhorns. As far as going to the SEC, are you sure you want to go after reading the thread on the LSU board about Auburn? Of course maybe you guys will be the replacement for Auburn if they get booted from the SEC!
It sounds like the old SWC over there doesn't it? But the bottom line is the bottom line. If Texas is going to get that much more money and exposure at the expense of the rest of the "conference" (ie, no conference channel and no extra funds) then I see no possible way the Big XII - 2 can stay together. We could see the massive realignment that everyone expected this summer.
