Close and great game to watch with the lead changing hands many times. Tennessee pulled it out 76 - 73. We took #2 to overtime for our only loss this year. Proud of this team!
Not surprising but the success that Rick Barnes has had at Tenn compared to the lack of success that Shaka Smart has had as his replacement has been a topic of conversation on Texas boards. A lot of Texas fans feel like this is the make or break year for Shaka, but interestingly most of them agree that Rick's time at Texas was up, that the program had gone stale and both Texas and Rick needed to move on from one another. He was always a class act at Texas and I'm glad that he's doing well at Tenn.
