Tonight in about 10 minutes... Can Rutgers knock off two number 1 teams in two consecutive games? They beat UCONN that was number 1 last week. That moved Tennessee back into the #1 spot and next on Rutgers schedule... #1 Tennessee. If Rutgers wins, this will be the first time that a team has beaten #1 in two consecutive games. ESPN2 at 6pm central time.
Tennessee up by 11 at the half. Rutgers has been down twice this year by 10 points and won both games. Eleven points down is the largest deficit of the season for Rutgers. Can they pull this one off as well? Both teams are in foul trouble with key players. Candice Parker is on her game and showing no ill effects from the knee injury last week.
In true Rutgers style, they came out with a passion to start the second half. With 11:13 left in the game, they have tied the score at37. The Lady Vols better wake up out of this 13 minute slumber they have been in.
Tennessee is going to win!!!!   Hey Tom what is it about your mens team, they score 60 points against the Gators in the 2nd half then can only score 49 points against LSU the whole game, after their coach had been fired? Anyway that is some combination Tennessee has this year with the mens team and womens team.
I had written this with less than a minute left. Tennessee pulls one out of its arse and may have had help by a friendly time keeper. Rutgers will probably get their revenge in the tourney.
Good night for teams named UT and having a shade of Orange for their color!! Texas takes a hard fought game from Kansas in Austin tonight.
